Delve of Destiny III : September 11th-13th
It is with pride and excitement that Mystic Ages Online (MAO) announces the hottest online roleplaying gaming event this year!
The Delve of Destiny III (DoD III) is the third online convention of its series, promising to be the best roleplaying related event in the history of the internet. Professionals and amateurs from across the globe are combining to produce both a unique and exciting set of tournaments, forums, and rpg related events that is totally free for any gamer to participate in.
Continuing in the tradition of the first and second DoDs, the DoD III plans to have a awesome AD&D tournament, designed for both new and experienced players using the 2nd Edition AD&D rules. Also added to the list is a Talislanta tournament, complete with introductory rules for the novice. Finally, a Shadowrun and Battletech tournament complete the list.
Special guests include Gary Gygax, Dave Arneson, Tracy Hickman,Steve Sechi, and more! World of Darkness games will be going on 24 hours a day, and cool forums, like Meet the Authors: Netbooks, are being planned to make it both fun but informative.
The Delve of Destiny series of conventions are non-profit events, serving to enhance the online roleplaying experience. The first Delve of Destiny was run in late summer of 1997, and the second followed soon after in March of 1998. The latest DoD promises to be the biggest yet, with support from several online game stores and rpg companies.
We invite you to partake of the three days of roleplaying, September 11th-13th, found nowhere else. Events will take place on IRC, and interesting reviews and editorials will be posted on the website.
